Doris Gayle (Dunn) Bartleson

Doris Gayle Bartleson, age 72, Harrodsburg, widow of Truman Bartleson Jr., passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at the home of her daughter in Louisville. Born June 9, 1953, in Burgin, KY, she was the daughter of the late John “J.P.” Price and Pauline (Bradshaw) Dunn. She was an assembly line worker for Cricketeer Manufacturing Company and Hitachi Corporation both in Harrodsburg. Doris was a member of the Mercer County Democratic Women’s Club, a member of the Mercer County Habitat for Humanity Board, a member of the First Baptist Church on Broadway in Harrodsburg, where she was a past president of the Church’s missionary society and a past president of the Church choir.

Survivors include one daughter Tasha Gayle (Greggory) Bradley of Louisville; two sons Paul Anthony Bartleson also of Louisville and Deshon (Nikki) Bartleson of Versailles; a sister Maureen "Sissy" Dunn of Harrodsburg; a brother Ernest Dobbins of Lexington; three grandchildren Makayla Burns, Paul Aidan Bartleson and Grayson Bradley plus a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Doris was preceded in death by four sisters Sheila Dunn Reynolds, Pocahontas Bradshaw Walker, Irene Dunn, and Marybell Bowman plus two grandchildren Cierra Bradley and Desha Bartleson.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 21, 2026, at First Baptist Church on Broadway in Harrodsburg by Pastor Randall Bartleson.

Visitation will be Friday, February 20, 2026, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm and Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 12:00 noon until time of services at the church.

Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Harrodsburg.

Pallbearers are Dante' Bartleson, Brian Bartleson, RJ Bartleson, Landen Bartleson, Keith Dunn, and Myron Russell.

Honorary bearers are Tilton Bradshaw, Raymond “Duge" Dunn, and Jack Coleman.
